Photo Taking & E-Mailing Photos Instructions

How To Take Your Photos For Best Results:

1.  Stand in the doorway of each room you are photographing.  This will give us the best view of the room and this is also the view the buyer will have upon entering!

2.  Turn lamps ON in a dim light.  Turn OFF in a bright room.  Try taking photos with the flash ON and then OFF.  Review the photos for the best lighting.

3.  Do NOT shoot into direct sunlight!  Close the blinds partially or fully to reduce the sun glare.

4.  Use a wide angle lens when possible.  If you do not have a wide angle lens on       your camera, please take several shots while rotating each slightly in the same direction.

5.  Use a tripod if you have one.  This will enhance stabilization features and reduce blur.

6.  Don't be afraid to take close-up shots of focal points in a room.  Example: Fireplace, Wall Niche, Built-In Bookcases/Shelves, etc.  These will be key in the Action Plan.  Don't forget the Main Entryway/Foyer!

7.  Please include at least one photo of the exterior/entrance of your home!

8. Make sure to review your digital photos BEFORE you upload them to us!

Email Your Photos

1. When e-mailing photos it works best to compress your photos into a ZIP FILE before uploading. JPG Images recommended.  Picture size: 75KB is ideal...maximum 500KB.

2. E-mail to:   teresa@LookingFineByRedesign.com

3. We will send a confirmation email once we receive the photos!

4. Upon reviewing your uploaded photos, a member of our Design Team will contact you to set up a brief interview either by e-mail or by phone, whichever is more convenient for you, to acquire some basic information from you. (Example: Selling timeframe, if the home is already on the market, etc.)
